Appliquéd Farm Animal Cushions

using stencil designs by Ian Paul MacAdam.

All cushions are 17" x 17" inch square, have a zipper
in the lower back and intended to be nicely
plump and soft with a 20 x 20 feather filler.
The appliqués are stitched with
thread and yarn (couched)
and are lined on the inside.
The background for the hen is a natural colour
medium weight poly-cotton.
The rooster is appliquéd on burlap.
A maroon and rose velvet pair of pigs
appliquéd on natural colour burlap.
Two roosters to greet the day ...
... and a white hen on brown burlap.
... with the insert added.
Three geese and the hen on red and brown burlap ...
... or purple jacquard ... on white ...
... and fattened with the filler insert.
